I HAVE RECENTLY MOVED FROM NYC TO GEORGIA AFTER BEING LAID OFF FROM THE CITY OF NY AS A SOCIAL SERVICE SUPERVISOR. I LIVE WITH MY MOM AND CHILD FINDING WORK HAS BEEN CHALLENGING AND A DEAD END. WE ARE BARELY MAKING IT. I HAVE A COUPLE OF CUT OFFS IN EFFECT FOR THIS WEEK AND THE NEXT. BECAUSE OF THE LATE PAYMENTS TO GEORGIA POWER THEY KEEP ASKING FOR DEPOSITS. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE WHEN I CAN BARELY PAY MY BILL TO GET EXTRA FOR A DEPOSIT. I FIND THIS AN UNFAIR PRACTICE BUT WHAT CAN I DO. I HAVE A LANDLORD WHO REFUSES TO FIX HIS OLD WINDOWS THAT ARE TRULY BRINGING ALL MY UTILITY BILLS TO A MAX.
I START A JOB ON APRIL 10TH HOWEVER, IN THE MEAN TIME I NEED HELP KEEPING MY LIGHTS AND GAS ON NOW. WELL THE DATE FOR THE GAS WAS ON FRIDAY SO THEY PROBABLY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ACCOMODATE ME FOR MORE TIME HOPEFULLY IT WILL GET WARM. ELECTRIC I STILL HAVE TIME TO THE 3RD OF THIS MONTH.
ANYONE THAT CAN HELP ME WITH THIS PLEASE!!! I START A JOB SOON AND WILL BE ABLE TO START PAYING BACK ANY HELP RECEIVED.
